When it comes to passwords or other sensitive, brief information, the question often arises as to the best way to transmit it. Using several emails or different media to send information is often cumbersome and only possible with a pre-agreed procedure.
One-time messengers (OTM) have been developed specifically for the secure transmission of information. This means that information in emails is no longer transmitted as plain text. The use of OTMs is comparatively simple:
- A message is stored in a text field and saved. (Encryption and generation of an individual link is automatic).
- This link must then be sent to the person concerned by e-mail, chat, etc.
IMPORTANT: The automatically generated link can only be opened once . If a link received by e-mail works, you can be sure that the information has not been changed or viewed by others.
