Image: JKU LinzAI is a rapidly evolving technology that has a particularly high impact in medical applications. This summer school will introduce?participants to AI in various medical applications and medical technology and will also cover related topics, including sociological and?legal aspects of AI applications in the health field.
The EC2U Summer School on AI in Health and Medical Technology will expose participants to an emerging, high-impact field. Through?bridging theory and practice, studentsmove frompassive learning to applied problem-solving.
In addition, this interdisciplinary and international event will foster the ability to communicate across disciplines and enable systemslevel?thinking about healthcare challenges while strengthening soft skills and personal development. The event will also provide career?orientation as well as international and cultural exchange, thus creating long-termmultiplier effects.
The summer school is organised in connection with the EC2U Virtual Institute for Good Health and Well-being (GLADE). Bachelor, Master as well as PhD Students and Staff are welcome to apply.

Funding
Students, PhD candidates and employees of the University of Jena are eligible to recieve funding. Selected participants will receive a?1265 € EC2U Grant, but might have to pay the costs for travel and stay themselves in advance.
