The event will provide an overview of various excellence funding programs for young scientists, such as the Emmy Noether Program from the DFG, the ERC Grants from the EU and the NEXUS programme from Carl-Zeiss-Foundation. Furthermore, tips on how to strategically build a career to be competitive in excellence funding programs will be given and experiences of a successful application will be reported.
