How do we want to live in the future and which digital innovations will help with everyday healthcare?

The "MitmachFORUM Jena - New Public Health" will provide answers to these questions next Tuesday together with "wecare" as part of an open day of action that invites all interested citizens, students and university members to participate, try things out and exchange ideas. In an interactive exhibition, visitors can look forward to exciting technologies, talk to experts and experience in test stations how digitalisation is changing healthcare.

Programme highlights

• DigiMobil from VHS Niedersachsen for testing digital health applications
• Numerous exciting hands-on stations, demonstrations and counselling opportunities relating to digital health solutions (fit at work training devices, smart home and sign language demonstrators, age simulation suit and virtual reality experiences)
• Insights into wecare and other Thuringian projects and initiatives, e.g. ZeTT, TZLR, AGETHUR, AVATAR project, DLR
• Stress test measurement, back analysis, balance board

In addition, Daniel Knopf, Climate Adaptation Coordinator of the City of Jena, invites interested parties to a climate walk through Jena's city centre from 11-12 am.

The event is part of the "MitmachFORUM Jena - New Public Health" project, a collaboration between Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the city of Jena. The project is funded by the Stifterverband as part of the "Transformationslabor Hochschule" programme and brings together science, local authorities and society to think of new ways to create a health-promoting city.
