Welcome to the first day of study at the Institute of Sports Science! On this day, we would like to welcome all new students to our institute, provide them with important information for a successful start to their studies and get to know student life together.
\nOn this day, the Academic Advisory Service will give a presentation to introduce you to your studies and point out particularly important aspects of starting your studies. The student representatives (Fachschaft) will accompany the whole day and, above all, give an introduction to creating an individual time table using the Friedolin system. A guided tour of the institute will familiarise participants with the teaching rooms|instruction rooms, sports facilities and research laboratories. In the afternoon, there will be a city rally through the university city of Jena and a pub crawl in the evening. With this comprehensive programme, the new students will be well prepared for their studies so that they can really get started on 13 October 2025.

11.45 a.m. - Enrolment in Friedolin with help in the SR Mittelbau / SR Anbau
